Shanghai II

i'm getting used to the life here.
eating out or ordering delivery daily.
this sucks.
i'm thinking of preparing food on my own because the people here pack their own lunch.
i will have to do grocery shopping at the market or supermarket.
next, up on mind, where the hell is the market?
would i see jumping chicken slaughtered on the point?
would i see the fish out of gasping for air once out of the water?
all these are really scary.
but i will still have to get ingredients to cook.
will source for alternatives then.

i still sleep with my lights on.
super scary when i'm all alone in the big apartment.
anyway, the only thing i look forward to is SHOPPING.
hahha..
be it grocery or window. =D

Reindeer

Went to town for a short walk and we ended up shooting all the reindeers that we saw along orchard road. it was fun, fun and FUN!! =D

Leaving on a Jet Plane

In less than 24 hours I'll be in a foreign land.
A land whereby citizens don't usually speak English.
A land whereby loads of shopping can be done. :)
And people with LOADS of common sense will know that Bear's free for the week!!
He's available for anything and everything.
Ody will be with his Godpawrents, Ade and Vic, having the company of Cobi.
No more 'annoying' lil cutie, Zaedy boy.
No more choking on his golden fur that sheds like crazy. :P
As for mummy, she's all good with her other 3 precious daughter. :)

Happy Birthday Babes

Happy Birthday to Mum and Prissy.
Cooked both of them Yong Tau Fu Mee Sua early in the morning.
Yawns..

Headed to Expo for the Crocs sales but the queue was a killer. (favourite pastime of S'poreans)
Should have taken a picture of the queue.
All that walked out from the Hall was carrying at least 2 bags full of shoes.
It just tell how cheap those shoes were.

Trained to the Airport for Popeyes. Yummilicious.
La and Prissy each ate 3 biscuits together with their mains..
You can imagine how gluttony they are.

Then we took a bus down to Hougang to carry out what is expected and bought mum a bag for her marketing.
After this, trained down to Clarke Quay for dinner at Tampopo.
I must say that the food there is the BEST Japanese Cuisine in SG.
The ramen, sashimi and DESSERT are worth trying..
They'll never fail you in any aspect.

Of course we camwhored the whole time through other than having all the delicious temptations that no one can resist not digging in once its served. :P

Eat, Laugh, Shop

Met up with Jiao and Min yday.
It has been a very long time since we last met each other(like 2 yrs) thou we stayed so near each other.
Just for your information, we stay in the same neighbourhood and just 3 mins away from each other.

Went to Waraku at Sq2 after much of indecisive suggestions.
I must say that the food there is SUPERB!!
It is even better than some Italian restaurants out there.
I must say that their Grapefruit drink is kinda horrendous.
Jiao was having a very hard time drinking it and ended up sneezing non-stop.
Walked and shopped around the place and found a place to rest our feet, took a couple of photos.
Talked about how we actually know each other and was nowhere near concluding the actual details.
All we concluded was that we know each other through IPP.
Had a great time laughing at all the jokes and the things that we did before.

Anyway, Good Luck Jiao for your exams.. =)

Another Weekend

Bear is Out of Town to Vegas and Germany.
Looking forward to his returns and is missing him so much.

Breakfast at Chong Pang with my baby sista cycling me all the way.
Had my highlights and treatment done. (so loving it now)
Went for a BBQ with all the owners and MS at ECP.. (the rain ruined the fun)

Bangkok Trip

Went to Bangkok with my family and I shared a room with Prissy and Stella.
All we did there is to SHOP n SHOP..
Seriously there is nothing much to blog about cause there is no sightseeing trips to the temples or whatsoever.

The littlest Benjamin was really funny and notorious thou.
We were at the manicure parlour and he whispered into my ears, "Look at that man.. He is wearing girl clothes." I just told him not to mention anything and just stay ard and not create trouble for me. After manicure, we went to Starbucks and had a drink. Ben started yekking... Just now that boy is wearing girls clothes you know? Then he elaborated, "He's wearing earring, hair clip tying his long hair up and HE IS WEARING A BRA. And I'm not wrong cos he sounded like a BOY!!" Just can't stop laughing when I heard that.

Bought tonnes of clothes back from there.
Sad to say, I'm a 'M' in their country.. =(
In no time I guess I'll be 'L'...

Short Escapade

Went to Bintan for a short xmas shopping and I declare proudly that, "I've survived the ferry to and fro without MOTION SICKNESS PILLS". Plugged the earphones into my ears and Zzz... Bintan, being a tourist attraction, the price is exorbitant. Lunch wasn't fantastic and we can always get them cheaply in SGP. Took a buggy to Niwara Resort for ATV but due to time constrain, we have to forgo that. So we spent the remaining time the beach to kill time. It's great to have this short trip but work is a reality.. =D

Joyous Weekend

Had a real joyous weekend with my Bear and family.

In short: plane watching - Ikea shopping - punctured tyre - Crab Party for Dinner - Mahjong

Spent the eve of our mthsary out in the East. Simply love the plane watching as it is accompanied by lovely Bear and melodious music with me standing on my seat looking at the planes taking off. The only thing that we're short of was a camera. Nevertheless, all these precious moments will be remembered deep down in my heart.

Baked for my chocolate but its so last minute. =P Not the best that I've made but the prettiest.

Pink Heart

4th Mthsary Present

Went Christmas shopping at Ikea as I need to buy frames for my handmade gifts and Beary needs decors for his office. With almost no idea of how should the decors be done, we grabbed almost everything that they have and load them in our trolley till it became a pile of mess. Paid and load them in the boot, off we set for home.

Our Loot

On our journey back home, the tyre punctured. With no knowledge of where the tools are, we're stuck on the expressway, HELPLESS. Guess God knows that I'm in danger thus sent the EMAS Recovery to our rescue. =) Thanks to those uncles who helped us in the changing of the tyres. With our dirtied hands, we went home to unload my goodies and pick the rest up for dinner at Crab Party. The food there is great. Mum liked it and its so near to where she used to live when younger.
